Java Girl is a gourmet coffee business created by Barista Jessie Dennerline. Jessie
developed her passion for coffee after working in corporate America,
attending Real Estate School, and attending Graduate school all at
the same time. She began researching the coffee industry while
earning her MBA in International Business. After learning how
important the coffee industry was to the international community she
felt compelled to get involved. Jessie believes that nothing
compares to good coffee and intellectual conversation, which often
takes place inside her shop. Besides loving the art of being a
Barista, Java Girl has also given her a creative way to meet new
real estate clients. What better way to get to know and help people
than over a cup of coffee!
Java Girl coffee
is imported from all over the world and roasted locally. Java Girl
retail coffee can be purchased on-line.
A medium dark roasted espresso with a rich layering of bittersweet chocolate with underlying fruit blended with exotic Asian and East African coffee beans. Very mild acidity. Smooth, with a hint of dry wine in the cup. Balance of bright cocoa notes and smooth caramel. Clean and resonant aftertaste of dark chocolate and brown-sugar sweetness. Fine body and texture on the palate. Gobs of golden crema.
A rich and full-bodied coffee, Sumatra Harimau Tiger also presents an intense, wonderful aroma. This coffee finishes sweet with a lingering richness. Small landowners whose tiny plots are scattered over high terraced plateaus of clay produce most of the coffee in Sumatra. The coffee grows under full sun conditions without chemical fertilizers or pest control. The area farmers are responsible for the initial stages of the coffee bean processing. They remove the skin of the coffee cherries with hand-operated backyard milling machines and ferment the pulp covered beans overnight. This Sumatra goes through a "triple picking" process, which means the beans have gone through three cycles to remove defective and broken beans. The result is a much cleaner tasting cup without the earthy-ness found in a lot of Sumatrans.
El Conquistador comes from a small, bowl-shaped valley named Dota in the Tarrazú region of Costa Rica. Due to these special growing conditions, this coffee exhibits a lively, spicy cup with dark chocolate overtones, full body, and strong aroma.
